Topic: Rest 3

Gen.41.51 – And Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh: For God, said he, hath made me forget all my toil, and all my father’s house.

When God gives you rest, it’s that kind of rest that makes you forget.
After all that Joseph had been through, his brother harsh and wicked act, the false accusation in the house of Potiphar, as a Prisoner, after God blessed him with a son he realized he could hardly remember all that he had been through why? He got so busy with the blessings that he hard no spare time to think of his ugly past. I don’t know who am talking to this morning aside from myself, God is about to bring you into a rest that will get so busy with the blessings that you won’t remember your sad days. You won’t remember who wronged you,. How you wet your pillow all night, the mockery, shame and rejection. I don’t know who this prophecy is for but if you are out there and reading this, receive such rest!!! It will overtake you and undertake your affires for God is about to turn around your captivity and you are about to receive your Manasseh. “For God have made me to forget!!!”

Prayer: Father I thank you for your word, I thank you for whatever am going through today is a prove that am pregnant of my Manasseh. For soon you will make me to forget in Jesus name!!

Topic: Rest (My Turning Point)

Ps.126.1 – When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.

The later verse of this scripture speaks of a man with “Precious seeds” not just any kind of seed but a seed qualified and described as precious. Jabez was said to be more honourable than his brethren yet.. my brother you look at your business, with that business, your family should live and eat well, your children in choice school getting best of education but not so, instead, you still find yourself scratching tables. Not that you are lazy, no you work so hard with such precious seed yet weeping!! Am excited to be the one to break this news to you. Your Rest is here the Psalmist said, we were like them that dreamt when the Lord turned the captivity of Zion. Hallelujah This is your turning point, where all that weeping is turned to laughter, singing and rejoicing, all your precious seed which you have sown that seem to have died all coming up sprouting and bringing forth much fruits. For it is your turning point. I here the Lord say “Where are your captors? They are no more, they have been disabled and estinguished, they are no more. For the Lord shall give you rest round about. This month of May is your month of Rest, in Jesus name. Amen.

Prayer:Father I thank you for your word, by your spirit and in the name of Jesus I raise a standard against every captivity over my life and I receive harvest of my previous seeds in Jesus name!!!

Ps.55.22 – Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

Good morning brethren, still talking about rest. Most times in search of rest, we turn to people that are dare to us, close relative, church members brothers and sisters. Just like the writer of this Psalm. In the verse 12 For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him:
But it was who? First a man of his equal, his childhood friend they have shared a lot of secrets together, secondly; my guide someone he looked up to for guidance council, and thirdly my acquaintance. His best friend. It is said that every best friend have a best friend. And these three group of People know you better than anyone David had a very bad experience trying to find rest running to this group of people. And finally in our text he speaks out of experience saying”Cast your burden upon the Lord, for he shall sustain thee”
I don’t know what you are going through but I know this one thing. God has all it takes to see you through whatever you are going through. You can always depend on him to take your burden upon himself for he won’t let your feet to slip, with his right hand of righteousness, he will UP HOLD you and give you rest.

That Tiny Ray Of Sunshine That Give You The Power To Say No One More Time

Hope, is that little rays of Sun-shine at the end of the tunnel that gives us the power to say just one more NO. One more NO might be all you need. No to the downtrodden defeated self of yours, to Failure, Lack, Hunger, Poverty no to that Doctor’s report that stands a threat to your life.
Let me tell you something about jabez you may probably have not heard or you pastor have not told you. Jabez was more honourable than his brethren but his mother called him jabez, honourable speaks of his personality how much he loved God, Jabez will not take what does not belong to him, Jabez will not cause, will not lie or cheat. Jabez just wants his own woman he can love and share his world with, one man who can truly see and appreciate the beauty and uniqueness in her, one woman who will take him for him and be there for him as he rises to the top, one man to respect and love her. He never was a player yet every relationship he gets into knocks him down, every office he enters in search of opportunities knocks him down and puts him down. Though honourable yet knocked down every business he ventures into pulls him further down to kiss the dust from which he was made. then he walks home all beaten up looking defeated and down trodden. his family looks at him and looks at his highly upheld honour they walk over him forcing to eat the dust, forced to kiss the tears of defeat running through his eyes down his cheeks and as one of those tears drops, it caught hold of a reflection, what was that?!! It was a tiny rays of hope and suddenly I could hear him say “NO” I can’t be down though I might feel down, though am down am not out. No am not. Suddenly I hear him say again after so many NO, I hear him say again Yes I can, I fight it, I can’t fight my defeat, I can build my business, I can become wealthy, I can reach the world and live a healthy live again, I can love and be loved I can take my failures and turn them into great success take my disease and turn them to medications and turn my broken heart to a healing pool. And suddenly he cries out I CAN!¡!! Then he turns to God “Oh God, bless me and enlarge my coast. And God heard him and granted him his request. If you only you can see that tiny rays of sun light at the end of that dark tunnel.you can become whatsoever you desire.

Topic: TO WHOM IS MY SUBMISSION.

Text: James 4:7.

Therefore submit to God, resist the devil😈 and he will flee from you.

For many Christian’s, at hearing that word “resist the devil” it means to start binding and loosing killing the demons in there families and waging war against the devil. If there is a scripture for all that, it’s definitely not this one. This particular verse of this scripture is simply referring to the verse 1,2 of this same scripture James 4:1.2.

First he asked a question “what is the source of the fight and war within you?” and he answered ‘The craving that are at war within you’

This craving have led so many into dubious and life threatening acts. Most People have practical taken lives, many have manipulated figures for more gain, many have done things that have led there fellow human to take there own life. and yet the more we pursue our craving the less we have. Why? We submit to our cravings. We submit to the devil’s voice feeding us with cravings. The problem here is not the cravings the problem is our response to our cravings. He said after all we do to satiate our craving yet “we have not” why? Because “we ask not” what does that tell you? God himself is interested in your cravings. He has interest in your desire to be rich, wealthy, eat good food. live in big houses, drive good cars, have a wonderful home. But he said “Seek ye first” Put God first and your cravings will follow. Submit to God and all you have ever wanted in life will follow. I strongly disagree with the thought or teaching that Jesus while on Earth was poor. How can u say a man who fed Five Thousand Men is Poor (5000)? Children and Women Present at the feeding festival was not counted how can you say such is poor? A man who command fishes to bring him money, what technology can turn a fish into an ATM machine? A man who fed twelve families for 3year they never complained for lack. Who do you think was taken care of the families of the disciples when they left there net to follow Jesus? He was never poor as a man and definitely not as God. But because we submit to our craving we never ask.

“Rebuke the devil” Rebuke the temptation to kill, fight, war, within and with everyone around you just because you want to have.

Submit to God resist the devil and he will flee from you. After this have happened you are sure of greater grace verse six; And he will exalt you.

The working of Grace is simply best explained when you enter an elevator. I don’t know anyone who would rather take the stairs up to the tenth floor than take an elevator. Grace elevates you without sweating you, grace lifts you without any stress from your end. All you need to do is submit.  Your response to your cravings determine how stressful or stressles your life will be.

Prayer:

Lord, I submit myself to you this day. and I resist every temptation leading me away from you just to satisfy my craving. I submit to your Grace to lift me to that hight you desire for me. In Jesus name!
