TOPIC: HIS DEATH & RESURRECTION.

Text:Phil.3.10 – That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

This an amazing scripture. it reminds as a kid, when an elderly person gets you a gift an you ask; “how much” the default response you get is; ” do you want to pay for it?” This answer keeps the attention of the child or the recipient on the gift and not it’s purchasing value.
We have all just finished celebrating the resurrection and fervently prayed for the resurrection power and gift to come to work in our lives.
Paul in this writting acknowledged the knowledge of his resurrecting Power. But much more than that, he prayed to be conformed to the image of His death. In order words, whomsoever he is or whatsoever he was that enabled him pay so much a price to purchase me this gift of resurrection, I want it to. We celebrate the gift (Resurrection) but we seldome recognize or give attention to the cost of that gift because we have been thought not to ask. But Paul is saying here, to truly appreciate and get the best of the gift (Resurrection), I must become more like the price (Death).
It’s one thing to receive and appreciate a gift, it’s another to look beyond the gift into the hearts and intent of the giver this takes you from being just a recipient of the gift to the value (A worthy Price) until the receiver equals the price the gift has lost its value.until you and I we are conformed to his death, resurrection holds no value

Further scripture: Phi:3:1-14, 1Peter 1:3-25

Prayer: Lord I thank you the death of your son, and the gift of resurrection. help me to be conformed to his death that I may become of value to that power of resurrection.

How available do you thimk God is to you? How close is He and how much do you think He is interested in your daily life and activities?
The Psalmist puts it this way; “Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation.”
Isn’t that amazing? An amazing truth that God takes daily interest in me to load me with daily benefits which one of them benefits is His presence which guarantees my daily salvation.

Coming back to out text it says He has given us all things that is needed, essential for living LIFE and GODLINESS and access to this divine wealth is simply in the knowledge that He Himself has chosen you and positioned you in Himself.
We are threatened by the affirs of life; what to eat, drink, shelter most of all enemies. because we lack this knowledge the moment we understand that in Him we move, we live and have our being the easier it it to access this daily benefits and walk in His divine nature.

By the spirit of the living God in Jesus name i sanction and bring under judgment and condemnation every power that have been a threat to the life that God have given you. In Jesus name, Amen!

Prayers: Father thank you for having positioned me inside yourself for in you i enjoy my daily benefit. In Jesus name I sanction and bring to judgment every power denying me all that belongs to me in Jesus name.

The question about your journey in life is not about where you are going, but who you are going there with. It’s not about the distance but the company, it’s not about the destination but about the plan, purpose, intention of the destiny giver.
“And Enoch walked with God.” this got me thinking, what kind of life did this Mortal man live that he had this testimony? Adam his father the first man, never had this testimony hIs son methusela the oldest man in history never had this testimony. “AND GOD TOOK HIM” This is where am coming to! A testimony God sealed and attested for, and he saw it unfair for him to suffer the ancestral punishment of his fathers. God took him out from His Judgment and separated him from “THE DAY THOU SHALT EAT OF THIS FRUIT THOU SHALT SURLY DIE. “
Am not making this up or exaggerating God actually excluded a man from a curse He has placed upon man. “He was not”
I see God seperating someone this morning. I don’t care who have caused you or why they caused you, be it an ancestral cause that have been from the ages of your fathers, by reason of the standing cross where the savior was crushed and crucified, the blood of testimonies seating upon the mercy seat, I separate you from that cause in Jesus name!

What is your journey of life like? Is it a walk with God or you are just walking through life all by yourself? The Bible didn’t say Enoch talked with God, you can talk with God and still not get his approval. Enoch walked with God.
Realign your steps and get into a walk with God and no judgment made over and against your life will stand. If Enoch could escape the judgment of God himself by walking with him, who is that judge that will condemn you?

I can’t help but start today’s teaching with this prayers “Oh Lord may the errors and failures of my past not be announced to mar my present glory!”

Thes are the generations of Adam being mentioned, “and Adam lived… and begat a son in his own likeness and called his name seth” that got me thinking 🤔🤔🤔. Where’s Cain, and Abel? How come this two young men were erased from the chronicles of the history and genealogy of their father? An error that led to the lose of two sons in one day. There’s no how you will tell the story of the crying blood of the innocent son, that you won’t make mention of the son turned vagabond.
Seth was the beginning of a new story, a new genealogy, a genesis rewritten a new chapter open. The old story died with yesterday, gone with its pain and disappointment erased never to be remembered no more. It’s a glorious beginning. The meaning of the name Seth is appointed. I hear God appointing someone reading this a new beginning! For old things are past away and all things are become new.
Your shame and failures of yesterday are forgotten and shall surface no more to mar your today in Jesus name, Amen!

I read this scripture and my first response was disappointment toward God’s judgment. Why didn’t you kill Cain or punish him accordingly instead you put a mark upon him that no one will touch him, thereby protecting him. I really got very angry because I think of the wickedness of the wicked and they only get more wicked because there wickedness is going unpunished. I couldn’t sleep again because I was really angry in my spirit neither could I pray.
Imagine the confidence of a murderer that even after he has killed a man who hurt him; so if his father was given immunity as a murderer his own should be doubled. God said anyone who touches his father vengeance shall be taken upon him seven times, for him it shall be seventy times seven.
The Lord allowed me all night to stay pissed that I refuse to pray. And this morning asked me. Why cleans a world messed up with sin from sin, when I have created for you a world without sin? I remember the writing of Asaph in Psalms 73:3,17 He said I was envious of the wicked, until i came into the presence of the Lord and understood their end.
The Lord brought me into his presence and I saw in a revelation how the wicked will be raided and their wickedness not go unpunished. And finally he said to me son concern yourself with making and reaching that sinless world and give no thought about the wickedness of the wicked.
I love you.

Prayers: Lord teach me to draw and be closer to you teach my heart to seek you, teach me to walk in your truth and your righteousness my inheritance. may the rod of the wicked not rest on my lot. In Jesus name. Let the dwelling of the wicked be destroyed in Jesus name. AMEN!

Sometimes, our best friends are those that come knocking on our doors with so much gist especially gossip and expository report about someone else against you. We most times see such People as true friends. In this case, Abel felt safe alone in the field with his brother Cain. Probably telling him how dangerous and wild the field could be sometimes. Unknown to Abel, the real danger was his brother in whose arms he felt safe.

Be careful of people that come to you with so much to say, be vigilant when they start talking. because behind their words are weapons of destruction. Their words they speak to cause you to lose guard and the moment you lose guard, they strike.

I pray for you, this month of August is the end of all unfriendly friends in your life in Jesus name. Every friendnymies, surrounding you, waiting for the time to strike, may they strike themselves in Jesus name Amen.

SERIES: FAITH THAT WORKS 03

Topic: FAITH IN NEIGHBOUR

*Text: Mark.11.25 – And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.*

Someone might question, what has my text to do with faith? You can’t claim to have faith in the creator of the universe and not have faith in His creation. And one sole way of expressing faith in his creation is by giving. Forgiveness is one of the most greatest form of giving. It’s true nature and definition I discovered in the course of this teaching is found in the word itself; For-give. To give in advance even to one who in no way deserving of it.
The Bible speaks of the coming of the king. When he comes he shall say to the sheeps at his right hand I was hungry you fed me, I was thirsty you gave me water, I was in prison and you visited me, I was naked you clothed me. And they questioned and asked him, when did we see you hungry, naked, in prison… he replied; if you had done it to this little ones, you did it to me.
God himself expressed faith in man and gave his only begotten son. Christ rebuked the Pharisees and Saducees for omitting the weightier matter *Judgement Mercy and Faith.
How many times have you heard a brother come crying to you for help, and you turn your back on him? James 2:14-18. We claim to have faith but looking at our lives in comparison to the lives of the heroes of faith, who practically lived their lives for others. They never lived a day for themselves. Time wont permit me to talk about father Abraham who interceeded for lot, and also went into battle to bring him out of captivity. Or of david who wept for saul and even went out of his way to look for mephiboshet. And uncle moses who left his wife and children to bring His brothers out of Egypt. Today we live for ourselves yet we say we have faith. If God demands faith from us, it that kind of faith expressed through the person seated next to you. If you ever want to touch God through your act of faith, touch someone by your side. For-give. In other words dont wait for him to ask. The king said; I was hungry… not you asked me. Faith is giving, and for-giveness, is an higher form of faith that crushes mountain. It’s Christmas a season we celebrate the giving and expression of faith. Enter 2023 giving and forgiving in expression of faith. Shalom

*Prayer: Father I thank you for giving me Jesus, which is an expression of your faith in a mortal man like me. Help me and teach me daily to give and forgive in Jesus name, Amen.*

SERIES: FAITH THAT WORKS 02
Topic: FAITH IN YOURSELF

Text: Mark.11.23 – For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith

The Lord in the book of mathew made mention of this twice. Mathew 17:20, Mathew 21:21. Having faith in God is very important, but I remember in Genesis 1, God said let us make man in our own image and after our own likeness so its impossible, that we come from such Energy source and dont have same Energy flowing inside us. Every time we fail to connect to this power we get Him so disappointed. we see Jesus express this disappointment towards his disciples several times. God rested of his works after he made man. Why, he had faith in man, believed in him to continue from where he stopped. God put you in that family, church community; to fix thing not complain, but instead we spend time complaining over what God have not done for us, how bad the government is wasting the resources of the nation, over how big and stubborn the mountain is. Instead of speak to the mountain to be removed we glorify the mountain. We must understand that the mountain is not there to be gloritied but for God to be glorified. But until that mountain is removed God glory is at stake.
Stop feel beaten, defeated, and hopless and unworthy. The lying spirit of unworthiness is one voice the enemy uses to put us down making you a child of God feel not enough. Not enough to command such level of wealth, not worthy enough heal the sick, not enough to preach the gospel. Today I cause that spirit of unworthiness and cut off her lying tongue in Jesus name. there is Power in you to excersise give that Power an expression give that power a voice, give that Power a PUSH and see something happen.
For this cause am I born!

Further Scriptures: Mathew 21:21, Mathew 17:20, Gen. 1:26-31, John 18:37

Prayer: Father I thank you for the power and authority I have in the name of Jesus and so i speak to every mountain standing before me to move and casting into the sea in Jesus name, Amen!!!

Text: Heb.11.6 – But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

God has given to every man a measure of faith, and is expressed in three channels. Faith in yourself, Faith in your neighbour
and ultimately Faith in God. This three channels of faith we would be looking into in this series.
Whatever the measure of faith, God expects us to operate in that level of faith. The bible speaks of faith like unto a mustard seed and faith as unto a mountain. faith is of different measure but all same capacity. faith that works is the faith that is expressed, a faith that is worked on, and excercised. Faith is not talked faith is worked. Faith without work is dead.
As we enter into the year 2023, God has made it a year of all round possibilities. But it takes an excersised diligent faith to access them possiblities. Faith drives you into your promised land and delivers it to you. When faith is diligently applied with a seeking heart, reward.is the end result.
I pray for you, as your enter the year 2023, your faith put to work, will bring to life every dead thing in your life. In Jesus name!! Amen.

Prayer: Father thank you for the measure of faith at work in me. As i put my faith at work, pleasing you in my ways. Let all impossibility become possible in Jesus name. Amen!!!
